Lauren Hajjar

Founder and Owner of Errands and Events by Lauren

Lauren Hajjar is the founder & owner of Errands and Events by Lauren. Lauren created the company in 2004 with a focus on providing personal concierge services to people in and around the Boston Metro North area. After several years of errand services, a demand for event planning allowed for Lauren to expand her services. Lauren is very creative and has a special eye for attention to detail and it shows with every event that she plans. Patience, creativity and a desire to allow people to spend their precious time doing the things they love, is what makes Errands and Events by Lauren, the company that you should choose for your next special event or when planning for a day off.

As a firm believer in education, Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a concentration in Secondary Education. She has expanded her knowledge and expertise with Wedding Certification courses at Northern Essex Community College.

Lauren continues to build upon her skills in the event planning industry by regularly attending seminars, workshops and being a member of National Association for Catering and Events (NACE), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as well as other local affiliates.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time reading, exercising with her dogs and spending quality time with her friends and family at Ogunquit beach in Maine. Lauren also takes pride in being a board member of the Marginal Way Preservation Fund.

Caitlin Patten

 

Caitlin has been with Errands and Events by Lauren for 5 years. Caitlin works full-time as a second grade teacher. She is very responsible and is great at multi-tasking while staying on top of many projects at once.

Caitlin is a very organized. She is a focused young woman with a great amount of knowledge in the area of social media. Caitlin works as an assistant for the founder of Errands and Events by Lauren, Lauren Hajjar.

Melissa Geoffroy

Melissa is a mom of two, and works full time as an Executive Assistant at a financial securities firm in Boston. On the weekends, Melissa splits her time with her family to assist Lauren at Errands and Events by Lauren with weddings. In her free time, she enjoys, skiiing, playing tennis and spending time with her family.

 

Lucy and Georgia

 
 

Maggie (top left) passed away August of 2023 and now the office’s four legged employees are Lucy (left) and Georgia (right). Lucy and Georgia do a great job keeping Lauren company while she’s hard at work.
